Language Arts- vowel patterns aw, au, augh, al;
contractions; inflected endings; using capital letters
Reading- main idea, compare and contrast
Math- reviewing the values of coins and
bills, reviewing money exchanges, making equivalent amounts with coins and
bills, review decimal notation for money, entering amounts greater than $1.00
into a calculator, making rough comparisons between then-and-now problems
Science- needs of plants, weight and capacity
Social Studies- introduction into economics and
advertising, economic cycle, goods and services, needs and wants
