First week of school

 

Good Morning Parents,

Thank you for a great first week. I have enjoyed getting to know your children very much.
I'm greatly looking forward to the year ahead!

For the next two weeks, in the following subjects we will be working on…

Language Arts- Short vowels and consonants, using complete sentences with correct subject-verb agreement, long vowels
Reading- Character and setting, main idea
Math- Writing number sentences, single-digit addition, skip counting money, money equivalencies, explore the number grid, compare numbers using <, >, =
Science- Lab safety, essential agreements, scientific process, investigations
Social Studies- Classroom community, Bullydozers, essential agreements

Upcoming Events:
Wednesday September 9th - Curriculmn Night K-2
Wednesday September 24th - Early Dismissal 12:30pm
